BACKGROUND:

Located at an elevation of 3,000 feet in the mountains of Mendocino County, the Divine Mother Healing and Meditation Center is the process of fundraising in an effort to build a new an improved campus for themselves and their visitors. The existing property is situated around a beautiful healing pond and consists of over 200 acres of lush landscape, a small temple, a ceremonial fire pit and a multipurpose building. Bell springs road in Laytonville, CA is a windy private road that meanders up to the top of a remote forest where the new campus below is being proposed.

PROPOSAL:

From their website: “The campus for the new Divine Mother Healing and Meditation Center is located in the remote forest of Mendocino County in Northern California. A sacred power spot, the land radiates the very highest magnetic energy, rarely experienced outside of India.

Using ecofriendly, conscious living and building practices, the campus will live in harmony with nature as a sacred healing space for thousands of years.

Our campus design incorporates:

  • Fire-safe shelter for long term fire protection, forest management, and preservation.

  • Sustainable, renewable power and microgrid technology.

  • Buildings crafted from rammed earth construction, a five-thousand-year-old natural building method using raw earth, one of the most environmentally friendly construction methods.

  • Fully integrated and fire safe electrical and water systems.

  • Edible and/or fuel-based ground cover.

  • Fully sustainable model based on Vaastu, an ancient Vedic science that aligns property and spaces in harmony with nature to preserve, protect, and maintain the flow of positive energy. ”
